ZZP is a one-to-one company without partners that provides some good tax breaks in the first few years one has own liability for business debts and cannot be opened or operated by a non-resident.
Commercial or general partnership (Vennootschap onder firma or VOF):
If you are looking to start a business with other self-employed individuals, one option may be to create a legal entity in the form of a VOF that brings all partners’ equity to the VOF in the form of cash, goods or labor, and no minimum start-up capital is required.
A business or general partnership is a company in which at least two people work together under one common name, each person who participates becomes a partner; each partner contributes something that can be of this money and of that goods or work. There is no minimum capital required. Since the business partnership is not a legal corporate identity, the partners are personally liable for the debts.

In a general partnership, you practice your profession alongside your partners under a common name. No seed capital is required. Each partner is particularly responsible for an equal portion of the potential debt.

Trade cooperative:
A business cooperative supports the business interests of its members in certain areas, for example purchasing or advertising. A well-known example of a trading cooperative in the Holland is (FrieslandCampina), a large dairy cooperative whose members are dairy farmers who share in the profits of the cooperative.
Entrepreneurs Cooperative:
Entrepreneur cooperative members work independently, but they can also join forces to undertake certain projects. This legal form is ideal for self-employed individuals without their employees (zelfstandige zonder personeel, zzp’er), it enables its members to take on tasks or projects that they would not be able to do on their own. This also has benefits for the client who then has one-to-one contact and greater assurance that the project will be completed on time. The Entrepreneur Cooperative is ideal for small and/or short-term collaborative projects.
